Fig. 1:  Object selectivity was different in nearby two isolated neurons (A), but was similar in two MUAs (B), indicating that there are some common properties across the cells. The correlation coefficient represents an index for similarity of the pair in  responses to100 object images.

Fig. 2: Individual MUAs and the averaged MUA in a same columnar region were similar in stimulus selectivity, but MUAs and the averaged MUAs at different columns  were different in object selectivity.
