About ASC
About ASC
Asian Spectroscopy Conference (ASC) is a biennial international conference that gathers scientists who carry out advanced research using spectroscopy in Asia and Oceana, and provides them with an opportunity for exchanging new ideas and latest knowledge in a free atmosphere. The history of ASC traces back to 2007 when the first meeting was held in Bangalore, India. Since then, ASC has been regularly held every two years in Korea, China, Singapore, Australia, and Taiwan. After the webinar conference hosted in Singapore due to COVID-19, ASC is held in Japan for the first time.
In ASC, all topics about spectroscopic research are discussed, including:
Ultrafast spectroscopy and time-resolved spectroscopy
Multi-dimensional spectroscopy
Raman spectroscopy
Infrared and near infrared spectroscopy
UV and visible spectroscopy
High resolution spectroscopy and rotational spectroscopy
Spectroscopy of isolated molecules and molecular clusters
Nonlinear spectroscopy
Analytical spectroscopy
Spectroscopy of biomolecules
Spectroscopy of nanomaterials, particles and droplets
Single molecule spectroscopy
Imaging
New methods and technologies in spectroscopy
The scientific sessions of ASC consist of plenary lectures, keynote lectures, invited talks, contributed talks, and poster presentations.
