I specialize in condensed matter physics and have conducted research on the electronic states of strongly correlated electron models using numerical methods. In recent years, I have been particularly interested in exploring how quantum computers can be utilized to address problems in condensed matter physics, with the aim of deepening our understanding of quantum many-body systems.

I have consistently worked on non-perturbative analyses of quantum many-body systems. My recent research is oriented toward quantum computing, where I study exotic nonequilibrium phases on digital quantum computers. In parallel, I develop and apply many-body numerical approaches to connect circuit dynamics with nonequilibrium responses in strongly correlated electron systems.

I have a background in numerical studies of strongly correlated electron and spin systems using tensor network-based methods, including density matrix renormalization group. My current interests focus on unraveling the origin and mechanism of the interaction-driven exotic quantum states of matter, such as quantum spin liquids, topological superconductors, and spin supersolids. Additionally, I am interested in the non-equilibrium properties of strongly correlated models and collaborate with experimentalists.

    Biography

I obtained my PhD in physics from the University of Houston in 2020. I then worked as a post-doc at California State University, Northridge before joining Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2022. Since 2024, I have been a post-doctoral researcher at RIKEN Center for Emergent Matter Science (CEMS).

I conduct theoretical research on strongly correlated quantum many-body systems by combining classical numerical methods, including tensor network techniques, with quantum simulations on real quantum hardware. I also incorporate perspectives from quantum information theory to explore new physical insights arising from entanglement and measurement.
