Quantum Power Method Using a Quantum Computer

A research team consisting of Kazuhiro Seki and Seiji Yunoki has proposed an efficient quantum algorithm for calculating powers of a matrix on a quantum computer. The method is expected to provide a useful quantum algorithm for numerically solving quantum many-body problems.
