FOR MOLECULAR SCIENCE 
The XVIth International Conference on Time-Resolved Vibrational Spectroscopy (TRVS 2013) will be held in Beppu, Oita, Japan from May 19 to May 24, 2013. TRVS is a forum for discussing the latest developments in research utilizing time-resolved vibrational spectroscopy, with the aim of elucidating the structure and dynamics of molecular systems. TRVS is considered to be the most important conference in this field. TRVS has been held twice in Japan: Tokyo in 1991 and Okazaki in 2001. This is the third TRVS held in Asia.
