S. pombe vectors

These are distributed from the DNA Bank, BioResource Center, RIKEN.

It's our pleasure to distribute our vectors to the S. pombe community.
However, since it is such a job for us to send them, BioResource Center (BRC) provides these clones on our behalf.
So, we ask you to request them from BRC as much as possible.
BRC is independent from our department (we are not in the RIKEN BRC archive).
Therefore, we are afraid that we don't know about the procedure to get plasmids from BRC in detail.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
We would be grateful for your support.

However, the cost that BRC charges won't be cheap.
So, if you disagree it, please feel free to inquire.
We could help you, in this case.
Please select vectors of your interest from the list linked below.
Also, please note that we can provide only plasmid DNAs.
This means that we cannot provide a host E. coli strain.
So, if you need Gateway-compatible vectors, you have to prepare the desirable strain (DB3.1) by yourself.
This host strain is commercially available from Invitrogen.
If you don't need Gateway vectors, you can use any standard E. coli host.
