Science and Technology Dialogs with the Public

About Science and Technology Dialogs with the Public

In order to gain public understanding and support for the Grants‐in‐Aid for Scientific Research Program, we promote science and technology dialogs with the public as part of our activities to disseminate the results of research funded by the Program to society.

To deepen mutual understanding between researchers and the public, we carry out activities to present research activities and results to the public in an easy-to-understand manner and conduct questionnaire surveys to evaluate the participants’ satisfaction with the presentations and the level of difficulty in understanding them.
We have been actively presenting research results and facilitating research in new research areas by holding symposiums and workshops. In addition, we are engaged in a series of activities to provide the public with information on our research activities.
