The International Symposium on Metallomics 2007, organized by Hiroki Haraguchi (Professors Emeritus, Nagoya University), was successfully concluded on November 2007. With this success, the symposium was scheduled as a biennial event. There was also a suggestion for a local meeting of metallomics on a continuous basis, which led us to organize the first Japanese domestic meeting on metallomics.
To promote academic exchange and development on metallomics study in the field of science such as analytical chemistry, complex chemistry, medicical science, pharmacuetical science, nutritional science, toxicology and environmental science.
