"Quantum Spin Liquid in Hyper-Kagome Antiferromagnet and Spin-Liquid-Metal Transition"

Recent experiment on Na4Ir3O8 suggests that the ground state of this system may be the first example of three dimensional quantum spin liquid. We present a theory of possible three dimensional quantum spin liquid phases for the Heisenberg model on the hyper-kagome lattice, appropriate for the magnetic lattice of the Ir moments. We also discuss a theory of spin-liquid-metal transition tuned by changing the band-width or pressure.
