"Quantum Monte Carlo study of the Hubbard model on the Kagome and the triangular lattices"

@Discovery of superconductivity in Na_xCoO_2.yH_2O has generated new interest in strongly-correlated frustrated systems. In order to understand the nature of pairing in this material, it is important to know the electronic state and the magnetic correlations in models of strongly-correlated electrons on lattices with geometrical frustration. With this purpose, we have performed Quantum Monte Carlo (QMC) calculations for the Hubbard model on Kagome and triangular lattices. Here, we discuss the QMC data for the magnetic properties and the single-particle spectrum of these models.
