- AVATAR X Project
AVATAR X aims to capitalize on the growing space-based economy by accelerating development of real-world Avatars that will enable humans to remotely build camps on the Moon, support long-term space missions and further explore space from afar.
- Whole Brain Simulation on Fugaku Supercomputer
RIKEN has been appointed as the main organization for leading thedevelopment of the post-K supercomputer,
which is about 100 timesfaster than the current flagship machine called K. We are developingthe entire human
brain simulation that realizes flexible decisions andlearning with Fugaku (Projet Name: Flagship POST-K) supercomputer .
This study aims to understandbetter how our brain works, the cause of brain disease, and also to
implement brain algorithms on machinery, networks and computers isable to realize new intelligent devices.
